SPM #175: Growing Community Events w/ Brian of 575 Pizzeria

Growing Community Events w/ Brian of 575 Pizzeria

I never really know what to expect from some of the interviews as I never really know what topic or information will turn out to be the focus of the chat. On this episode of the show, Brian of 575 Pizzeria joins me and we ended up talking about how they started a bike crawl in the community. Brian shares his story of how he thought only a few people would show up to what it is today, an event that gathers over 700 people every year.

Brian also discusses why he quit being an accountant to open a pizzeria. He also shares how a degree in accounting has helped him run the business in a way that was cash flow positive from day one.

What To Listen For:

  • How Brian got started in the pizza biz
  • Why Texas?
  • How they started and grew the bike crawl
  • Why delegating is hard but important
  • How they use loyalty rewards to grow sales
  • What company they switched their loyalty program to and why
