Anthony Mangieri of Una Pizza Napoletana

Anthony Mangieri is considered one of the best, if not the best pizza maker in the U.S. starting his journey as a bread beaker before turning to pizza and truly becoming a student of the craft. On this episode, we talk about Anthony’s long history with pizza and how it’s taken many twists and turns along the way.

We discuss how his obsession with every pizza being perfect has made it hard for him to let others help out which has made his journey a tough one with many times wanting to just give up. Luckily he kept at it and is now opening up back in NYC after 8 years on the west coast.
