Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk
This is the second book that I have reviewed by Gary Vaynerchuk. I am officially hooked because he really knows the complex world of social media. In this book he finally shares it all with the reader to help bring everything full circle.
Whether you have been on social media for a while or just getting started, this book will show you the ins and outs of certain networks. Gary covers Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook along with Twitter and gives some great examples of what’s working but also shares examples of social gone wrong.
What I found most interesting in this book was Gary doesn’t just give examples of good and bad, he actually dives into why they are bad and most importantly, how to fix them so you don’t waste any time making those very same mistakes.
Key Takeaways:
- Each Social Network needs to be used in its own way
- You can’t post the same way on every network
- Social changes so rapidly you need to really learn how people are using it
- Social media is about telling stories and being interesting
- Stop selling on every post
